Elena Moldovanu

I joined the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General as a trainee in December 2017. I’m now an Audit Manager and also volunteer as a mentor as part of our Office’s mentoring program.

The main attraction for me was the opportunity to build my career with an influential public body but also the opportunity to contribute to the better use of public money and resources and the overall public accountability.

The C&AG Office offered me a great opportunity to train, gain a professional qualification and progress my career quite quickly without compromising my work-life balance.

I’m passionate about my job and even now, years after qualification and promotion to manager, I find that my learning continues to broaden as the nature of the work that I do evolves.

It is one of the main things I like about this Office as I believe overcoming challenges is a great way to advance your career.
