Leonard McKeown

Leonard has been Deputy Director of Audit since 2020. Leonard is responsible for the audit of a number of departments and other votes accounts including the Finance, Foreign Affairs and the OPW portfolios. Leonard is the Office’s Cyber Security Officer and is also responsible for the Data Analytics, IT Audit and IT Projects Team.

Leonard has over 30 years’ experience in audit and risk management and has operated at a senior level in public practice and industry for the past 20 years.

Leonard is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association having qualified as a certified information systems auditor.
