Special Report 113 - Procurement of vehicles by the Irish Coast Guard
This report presents the findings of an examination of the procurement of cliff rescue vehicles by the Irish Coast Guard. A number of changes to the Department’s procurement procedures are required, in particular, in relation to strategic planning for equipment requirements and the enhancement of the Department’s processes and procedures governing the management of procurement and the conduct of individual tendering exercises.
Appropriation Accounts 2020
The Comptroller and Auditor General presents the Appropriation Accounts together with his certificates to Dáil Éireann. The certificates give his opinion on whether the accounts properly present the receipts and expenditure related to each Vote.
Report on the Accounts of the Public Services 2020
The Comptroller and Auditor General has published his Report to Dáil Éireann on the results of his examination of the 2020 Accounts of Government Departments and Offices. The Report identifies issues, which in his opinion, merit consideration by the Committee of Public Accounts in the interests of transparency and accountability.
