Shane Carton
Deputy Director of Audit
In his current role, Shane has responsibility for financial audits and performance audits relating to the Office of the Revenue Commissioners.
After joining the Office in 2010, Shane undertook a number of management roles in both financial audit and performance audit before serving as the Deputy Director for Central Services. He represented the Office as a member of the Audit Board of Eurocontrol between 2017 and 2021, and chaired the Board for the final two years of his term.
Shane holds an MSc in Economic Policy Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCD. He is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
