Who we audit
The Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) is responsible for the audit of accounts across a wide range of State activities. In particular, he is responsible for the audit of:
- Central Government
- Appropriation Accounts
- Central Fund Related Accounts
- Other Funds
- Funds administered by Government Departments
- Non-Commercial State Sponsored Bodies
- Bodies such as Universities and other Third Level Educational Institutions, Health Bodies and Agencies and Educational Training Boards.
